Petanque

25 years of danish petanque tshirts

Lars Refn was one of the founders of the Copenhagen Petanque Club in Denmark. He is also an illustrator, and has produces a vast number of t-shirts with petanque as the theme over the years.

With the 25 years passing Lars had a look at all the different t-shits he had made, and it turns out they were quite a few, and quite funny some of them too..

(This one reads "Do it with a pig" , ie. the cochonette. We hope that what he means anyway! )

Lars has a gallery of these on his home page, at larsrefn.dk

However we realized that drinking beer was not a good excuse to leave home at any given time, we needed a better plan. Or just simply a plan.

New book about Petanque

Petanque Psychology

Most Petanque players think that the game is all about how they throw their boule. After all, whoever lands their boule closest to the cochon is the person who’s going to pick up the most points. However, Petanque isn’t all about merely throwing boules since there is also a psychological aspect to the game.
